Alondra de la Parra is a prominent conductor recognized for her work in the field of classical music. She has conducted some of the most renowned orchestras in the world, including the Orchestre de Paris, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC Philharmonic, among others.
She was the musical director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Australia, becoming the first woman to hold that position in an Australian orchestra, and her talent and international presence earned her the distinction of being the youngest member of the Latin Grammy Awards Board. Her album Mi Alma Mexicana broke unprecedented sales records in Mexico, earning her the recognition of Platinum Record. In April 2022, de la Parra was appointed as Principal Guest Conductor of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano.
